Marina - The Future

While 2020 undoubtedly presented some unexpected challenges and forced us to close our doors completely for 72 days, thanks to the hard work of the team at Public Health and the island community as a whole, we were able to welcome our members back to Marina on the 1st June.
During the last year we have made even more fantastic facilities available to Marina members, with the introduction of the impressive new Immersive Cycling Studio at Kings together with the implementation of the year-round Outdoor Fitness Zone, both of which are available to Marina members under the Kings access agreement. We have also been busy planning future phases of refurbishment at Marina and we are pleased to announce that the complete replacement of the Sauna & Steam room units is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of next year.
New state of the art heating systems have been ordered for the indoor pool and enabling works to install these are already under way. In the meantime, a temporary heating system has been installed, which has helped us to keep the pool temperature at the recommended level of between 26 and 28 degrees.
We have also been working to upgrade and replace the gym equipment within Marina and we are aiming to introduce new state of the art Technogym equipment into the Club next year.
So while 2020 has been a very challenging year for us, we are excited to welcome in the year ahead and we look forward to welcoming you all back during 2021!
